Plurk Nirvana anomaly

plurk.com measures post frequency and awards "karma" points.

They claim that you'll reach "nirvana" at 81.00. It turns out that you don't. You only get to reach it at 81.01.

If you reach flat 81.00 and you don't do anything for four hours (the amount of time between karma updates) you get to lose karma.

Nitpicking, I know. But it's hard work just to gain points and it's disappointing to not get your due reward.

Anyway, it's a crazy way to be "social" but I've been itching to leave the site anyway. (One day, I did not plurk for several hours and it took me several days to regain those lost points!)

It's back to Twitter for me. Where I can post anytime -- without penalties.
